I have been working on different beanies for the new baby.

I found Three great patterns and could not decide which one I liked the best so I decided to crochet all three.

The white and purple beanie was done in: Bernat Softee Baby Yarn, the color is White #02000. The Purple flower was done with scrap purple yarn. I followed the pattern on page 59 in the book " Crocheted Baby Clothes by Nicki Trench. You can find it here.
I did omit a few rows from the pattern and I added a small white button to the center of the flower.

This was an easy pattern and did not take long to make!

The Red and Green hats were done using- Berroco Comfort DK, color #2744 and #2742,
I found a free pattern on the internet which you can access here. This was also an easy pattern, great for beginners!

It is hard to tell in the picture, the red hat has white trim and the green hat has peach trim.

And lastly I made the pink beanie using Bernat Softee Baby in soft peach #30410. I used a free pattern for this shell stitch hat can be found here. I love this shell pattern and this hat would look good in any color!

  1. These beanie's are adorable, no wonder you couldn't make up your mind on them, love them all!
can't wait to try them. :)

  2. You have been Busy!! Those are soooo Cute. What are you working on next?

  3. That's sure to be a well dressed grandchild! The first hat with the flower will go nice with the poncho. The red and white one match the sweater I suppose. Nice! Sandi
