GSC-Week 8

A little surprise this week, I found another free pattern! It is very popular on the Internet and is an easy pattern to follow.

Here is GS # 51-African Flower Square

I found this great pattern on the "Made in K-Town" blog. you can find the pattern and a great tutorial here. I added an 8th round to the square, for this round I did sc in every dc around doing 3 sc in each corner.

The rest of the squares for this week came out of the book  "200 Crochet Blocks"  by Jan Eaton

GS #52-Alhambra (#14 in book)

 GS #53- Corner Square (#15 in book)

This square was easy but a little complicated getting the sides to be perfectly even.

GS #55-St Petersburg (#22 in book)

GS #56-Italian Cross (#24 in book)

For this square I did not do row #7 since it would have made this square larger than my other squares.

GS#57-Snowflake (#26 in book)

This pattern was great and would make a nice christmas blanket!

As you can see I had to skip some of the patterns in the book. They were either a solid square pattern or  they were the same as some of the patterns that I found on the internet.
