GSC-Week 16

This is a week of ending and beginning. I am finishing up the book "200 Crochet Blocks" by Jan Eaton and beginning a new book called "The Granny Square Book" by Margaret Hubert.

So here are the last four blocks from the "200 Crochet Blocks" book:

GS #107-Begonia (#181 in the book)

                            I love this square with the white flower in the middle and the black frame!

GS #108-Willow (#189 in the book)

Im not sure I like the purple color scheme for this square. The book had an orange color scheme that made the flower stand out more.


GS #109-Fretwork (#197 in the book)

This is another variation of the granny square and just as easy to make as the original!

GS #110-Marigold (#209 in the book)

      This is the last pattern form the book! This square looks good in many different color schemes!

Now we move on to the "Granny Square" Book by Margaret Hubert. You can find the book on Amazon for about $17.50. So far it has been easy to use and has some different patterns.

GS #111-Picots (#1 in the book)

            This is a cute little square that is a bit smaller than my other squares, but was easy to make!

GS #112-Diamond Square (#2 in the book)

This is another small square and has a nice diamond pattern. I have done one or two other diamond squares but so far they have all been different.

GS #113- Adrienne Square (#3 in the book)

I was able to add an additional row of double crochet to make this square measure up to my other squares.
