Here are the squares for week 27:
GS #184-Savannah (#75 in the book)
An easy to do square but comes out very small.
*The next three patterns are from a website called Ravelry, it is a great place to find crochet and knitting patterns. All you need to do is make an account and you will have access to over a thousand different patterns, information about yarn, forums, and groups. It is something worth signing up for!
GS #185-Garden Trellis
This was an easy square and would be nice done in pink and greens. This pattern is on Ravelry.com
GS #186-Garden Gate
This was an easy square and would look great in many color combinations. You can find this pattern on Ravelry.com
GS # 187-Petal Afghan Square
I love this square, it is very thick even though I did it in a DK weight yarn. It would make a wonderful blanket! The directions are great but you need to refer to the photo. This pattern is from Ravelry.com
GS # 188- Pineapple Sun Square
This square would look good in multiple colors, it would make the pineapple shape stand out more. The Pineapple Sun Square can be found here
GS# 189- Peek-a Boo Shells Square
The Peek-a-Boo Shells square was another square that is great for beginners and if you put together a bunch of squares it would make a interesting scarf or table runner. you can find it at http://pandacrochet.8m.com/pab_shells.html
GS # 190- Picot of the Day
A very easy square to do, great for beginners. I am not sure how you would use this in a blanket or table runner as it would take away the edging. It would be great for coasters! you can find the pattern here.
I hope you enjoy the squares for this week! I mentioned that the blanket that I have been working on would be finished by now but I am a little behind schedule. I will post it as soon as it is finished.
Happy crocheting!
Picot of the Day! This was a difficult week to choose a favorite. Nice work Lynn. Sandi
