I cannot believe that after this week I will need to make only 100 more Granny Squares! I cannot believe how fast the past year has gone. I guess it is true that time goes faster the older you get!
I am still working out of the "99 Granny Squares to Crochet" book by Leisure Art, my color scheme for this week is Black, White, Bright Pink, and Green.
Here are the squares for this week:
GS #261(#22 in the book)
GS#262 (#23 in the book)
I had a scrap of off white that I used for the center of this square but using two colors takes away from the flower pattern in the center. This really needs to be done in one color.
GS#263 (#24 in the book)
This square came out very large, I am not sure what I will do with it!
GS#264 (#25 in the book)
It was hard to get a good picture of this square, I took 10 pictures and this was the best. the bright pink is pretty bright.
GS#265 (#26 in the book)
This is a great square for beginners and would look good in any color.
GS#266 (#27 in the book)
This cute little square is done with popcorn stitches in the center to give it a fluffy look.
GS#267 (#28 in the book)
This is another square that would be great for beginners and would look great in different color combinations.
I hope you enjoy this weeks squares!
Happy Crocheting
With all the green in the first few blocks I thought of St. Patrick's Day! The flower seems to float on GS #261. Pretty, pretty...Sandi
