GSC Week 42

I hope this lovely week in October finds everyone well. The trees are turning color and the weather is getting cooler. This is my favorite time of the year great weather and preparing for the up coming holidays!

The squares this week are coming from the "99 Granny Squares to crochet" book by Leisure Art, the colors for this week are Grey, Pink, White, and Red

GS#289 (#50 in the book)

The popcorn stitches in this square makes the square a little more 3D

GS#290 (#51 in the book)

This is a smaller version of the original patter as this is a large square so I only did the first 10 rows.

GS#291 (#52 in the book)

This was an easy to do hexagon that has a flower in the center and then follows the granny square pattern.

GS#292 (#53 in the book)

Another granny square with a flower in the middle. If the square was done with a different color center the flower would stand out more.

GS#293 (#54 in the book)

This square has a chin, cross, and an X all incorporated in the pattern.

GS#294 (#55 in the book)

The red in this square makes the corners look like hearts!

GS#295 (#56 in the book)

The last square for the week has a diamond in the center surrounded by leaves.

I hope you enjoy this weeks square and the change of the seasons!
Happy crocheting.
