The squares this week were taken out of the book "99 Granny Squares to Crochet" by Leisure Art, I skipped a square this week since it seemed familiar. As I looked back, I noticed that I did the same square at an earlier time, so instead of repeating the square I decided to skip it.
The colors this week are dark orange, peach, and black which are very common halloween colors.
GS #296 (#57 in the book)
This was an easy square and is very lacy, it would be good for a table runner.
GS #297 (#58 in the book)
This is another open square and would make cute coasters or a great table runner.
GS #298 (#59 in the book)
With the square done in peach it is hard to see the flower in the center of the square, it would look good if the flower was done in peach and the rest of the square was done in a darker color.
GS #299 (#60 in the book)
Making this square in black makes it hard to see the flower in the center, if the flower was done in peach it would have stood out more.
GS #300 (#62 in the book)
This is a pattern that I thought I had done before as it seems familiar, but I already finished the square so I decided to add it.
GS #301 (#63 in the book)
This pattern makes the square look like a flower with leaves around it.
GS #302 (#64 in the book)
This square reminds me of a sand dollar that you would find at the beach.
I hope you enjoy this weeks squares, I plan to finish my christmas garlands soon and then I will share them with you!
Happy Crocheting
