GSC Week 48

WOW! It is already the end of the year! It is hard to believe that I have only 4 weeks of granny squares left to make. This week is a transition week from  the "99 Granny Squares to Crochet" book by Leisure Art to the new book called "100 Colorful Granny Squares to Crochet" by Leonie Morgan. Both of these books can be found on amazon.com and would make a great gift for any crocheter.

The colors for this week are Blue, Red, Green and White.

GS #331(#94 in the "99 Granny Square" book)

Nice square, but it was a little hard to get the edges square.

GS #332 (#95 in the "99 Granny Square" book)

This hexagon looks has a little star in the middle, it would look christmasy if it was done in green and red.

GS #333 (#96 in the "99 Granny Square" book)

I love this hexagon, it was easy to make and and would look great in a variety of colors!

GS #334 (#97 in the "99 Granny Square" book)

This is a traditional granny square with a sunburst in the center.

GS #335 (#98 in the "99 Granny Square" book)

The long dc in this square gives it a spiky look.

The squares from this point on will be from the "100 Colorful Granny Squares to Crochet" book.

GS #336 (Treble Granny on page 56)

This is a traditional granny square done with treble crochet stitches

GS #337 (Daisy on page 36)

The daisy square is another traditional granny with a little flower in the center.

For the next few weeks I will not be using just three or four colors for my squares but I will be using a  a variety of colors to make the squares colorful.

I hope you enjoy this weeks squares!
Happy Crocheting!
