Light and Lacy Scarf

In the transition between Summer and Fall, scarves have been on my mind. When looking at Pintrest, many people have been pinning scarf patterns. There are many different types of scarves such as cowls, infinity scarves, large scarves used as wraps, and lacy scarves. Scarves are a great accessory that you can make for any season or event.

I wanted to make a scarf that was lacy and could be used in Summer or Fall. I came up with the light and lacy scarf.  This scarf can be made out of fine cotton yarn for the summer or  it can be made out of sock yarn for cooler weather.

The scarf pattern is done with single crochets, half double crochets, double crochets, and a few Spike stitches, which makes it great for beginners.

If you would like to make your own light and lacy scarf you can access the pattern here

*Below are a few notes and photos to go with the pattern:

The edging will be worked around the whole scarf.
When working round 1 of the edging, you will need to work the stitches in the chain loops as shown in the photos below

Below is the photo of the scarf in Premier cotton fine weight, multi yarn # 3204 cloud gazing, the edging was done in with #2704 turquoise.

I hope you enjoy this pattern!
Happy Crocheting!
