All Done!

Already the end of October! Where does the time go? I finally finished a sweater/jacket that I started back in February. It was one of those projects I was so excited to start but it seemed like it took forever. It is finished just in time to wear for the cold weather.

I found the pattern for the Penny Arcade Jacket by Vickie Howell on Raverly and fell in love with the crochet design and look of the Jacket.

The original Jacket was done in green yarn, but I did mine in dusty purple Vanna's Choice yarn by Lion Brand.

The big sleeves and wide collar give this jacket a youthful look!

The pattern is great because it has written instructions, a chart, and a pattern for make each piece of the jacket.

I think if I made this jacket again I would use different yarn. The Vanna's Choice yarn made the sweater thick and a bit heavy. This might be fine if I lived in really cold weather.

I am so happy I finished this jacket! This is one more project off the unfinished project list.

I will be releasing the Winter Rose Scarf pattern next week, so come by and check it out.

Have a great week!
Happy Crocheting

  1. DA, I love your jacket. The color is so great. You do such beautiful work. Never crochet, so I will enjoy your work. Betty
