Game Day Beanie

The  Fall has begun and so has the American Football season! My daughter is a San Francisco 49ers fan and wanted a beanie to show her 49ers pride. She ordered a team patch on Amazon and the Game Day Beanie was made.

The pattern was written using hdc and dc stitches, so there would be an area to sew on the patch. The edge of the beanie was done with a reverse sc to give the beanie a finished look.

The pattern for this beanie was written with color changes in mind but we found a variegated yarn in the teams colors and made another beanie. This beanie was done with the same pattern but there were no color changes made.

The great thing about this beanie is that it can be made in any color combination and for any sports teams such as Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball. This includes college and high school teams as well. Beanies make a great gifts for sports fans and the pattern includes woman's and men's sizes.
