Holiday Accessories

The holiday season is just around the corner! Everywhere you go the stores are decorated for the holiday season and the family get togethers will be here before we know it! The holiday season is one of the times of the year that we dress up, so I thought it would be nice to crochet a bow that could be used for different accessories and can even be used for a decorations.

The Bow Tie/ Hair Bow written pattern can be found here and below is a tutorial for putting the bow together.

Once you have the bow and center band complete, sew the short ends of the bow together, forming a loop.

Make sure to leave a long tail on the center band, which will be used for sewing the band in place.

Put seam in the center back and cinch the bow together, cover with the center band.

 Sew the center band in place over the bow cinching the center of the bow as you go.

Add the bow tie clip or attach the bow to a burette or hair clip. This bow can be made into an ornament by adding a ornament hanger.

Ta-dah your bow is ready!
