Crochet the Sky (CAL) Update

This is the first week of the crochet the sky project, so I thought I would give a update. I check the sky everyday at 3:00 pm and crochet the colors I see. The sky has been mostly blue and on some days there have been clouds, so my blanket starts out with lots of blue and white.

The Ravelry group has grown to 31 people from different places in the world, they are from different areas of the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, Wales, Denmark, Australia, and South Africa. It will be exciting to see how different the colors of everyones blankets will be! If you are crocheting the sky but have not joined the Ravelry group yet, you can sign up here. I was not able to sit and crochet one day, so I was glad to have the Crochet the Sky Chart to keep track of the colors for that day. It only took a few minutes to jot down the colors and I was able to crochet that row the next day.
