Kaleidoscope Mandala

Before revealing the new pattern I would like to let everyone know that I have been trying to catch up with the information age by starting a Facebook page and Twitter account, so please join me on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with my crochet news about patterns, yarn, and crochet humor. Now for the new pattern:

Kaleidoscope Mandala

This Mandala is 8 inches (20.32 cm) around and the pattern is easy enough for advanced beginner crocheters. This mandala looks more complicated than it is, but the pattern uses sc, hdc, dc, and spike dc stitches. You can find the pattern here

The yarn used for the Mandalas was Stylecraft Classique Cotton DK yarn (3.5 oz/201yds/100g per skein). Cotton yarn is good for Mandalas  ad coasters because it is washable and it keeps it's shape.

Colors used for Pastel Mandala- #3668 Hot Pink, #3666 Shell Pink, #3673 Lavender, #3663 Soft Lime, and #3664 Wisteria

Colors used for the Bright Mandala- #3662 sunflower, #3673 Lavender, #3672 Poppy, #3671 Azure, and #3670 Saville

Just changing the colors gives each Mandala it's own unique look!

I hope you enjoy the new pattern and stop by next week for the matching coaster pattern.

See you on Facebook and Twitter
Crochet on,
Da
