January 2015 has come and gone so it is time for an update on the Sky Blanket (CAL).
The blanket is really beginning to shape up after just 34 rows!
As you can see from the picture below, I was able to use a few different colors. West Sacramento has had sunny days with blue skies, light blue skies with white clouds, a few rainy days with grey clouds and one day where the sun was trying to come through the white clouds lighting the sky with a peach and white streaks.
This project has made me intentionally look at the sky every day and I am glad I have been taking the time to see how beautiful the sky can be! Our lives are so busy, sometimes we forget to stop and look at the beauty that is around us.
It is not to late for you to join in on this Crochet-A-Long, you can get information about making the Sky Blanket, access to the pattern and chart, and how to join the Ravelry group here. If you look on Ravelry at the sky blanket group, you can see how pretty other people's sky blankets are.
I hope you take the time to stop and enjoy the beauty of the sky!
