Sky Blanket Update-May 2015

Here is the monthly Sky Blanket update, my sky blanket is coming a long nicely! I am almost half way done (about 151 rows), the blanket is now big enough to cover a chair, so it is about the size of a lap blanket/quilt. I really like the different sizes of stripes and the different shades of blue.

Not only does the blanket cover a chair but it also covers about half of my queen size bed. When the blanket is finished, I will have a Queen size blanket to keep me warm in the winter--------Good bye electric blanket!






For the month of May I added only rows of blue and white or all blue. In California we have not had any rain, just a lot of clouds passing through. It is too bad because we really need the rain!




As you can see it is not too late to join in, you can start now and make a lap blanket/quilt or you can start now and finish next June!
