I am posting a day earlier than usual, because I have something exciting to tell you about. I am joining the Mystery Lapghan CAL! I have teamed up with 29 other crochet designers to share 36 free crochet square patterns for a one-of-a-kind lapghan!This CAL is hosted by Crochet Memories and The Country Willows and starts today!
HOW TO JOIN IN THE MYSTERY LAPGHAN CAL
Every week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from August 17th through November 6th, a new square will be released. You can join the Facebook online group at "Mystery Group CAL" or https://www.facebook.com/groups/488215101349495/
Each pattern will be 6-inches square using a worsted or aran weight yarn – yarn symbol 4 and a size US-I/9 (5.5 mm) hook.
Release Schedule For Squares:
Week 1: August 17th, 19th and 21-you can learn about the designers for the first three squares here
Week 2: August 24th, 26th and 28th
Week 3: August 31st, September 2nd and 4th
Week 4: September 7th, 9th and 11th
Week 5: September 14th, 16th and 18th
Week 6: September 21, 23rd, and 25th
Week 7: September 28th, 30th and October2nd
Week 8: October 5th, 7th and 9th
Week 9: October 12, 14th and 16th
Week 10: October 19th, 21st, and 23rd
Week 11: October 26th, 28th and 30th
Week 12: November 2nd and 4th
This will also finish up all the blocks on November 4th , leaving November 13th through December 12th, for joining them together.
* You can join in by crocheting each of the patterns as you have time.
* Share your progress and post pictures of your finished projects!
* By the end of the crochet-a-long, you will have a 36-square lapghan to gift or keep!
I will be using Red Heart Soft yarn, but I have not received it in the mail yet, so I will have a delay in starting. This could also be a great stash buster project! Oh do I see two Lapghans in my future???
