Done On Time!

In my post a few weeks ago, I was in the process of making a baby blanket and had to have it completed by today! I was able to complete it on time and send it (via my mom's suitcase) to my great niece in Southern California.

To make this unique blanket, I followed the instructions and did 3 rows of each color for a total of 21 rows. The finished size of the blanket is 41"(104 cm) by 52 1/2" (133 cm) and each row is 2 1/2" (6.35 cm) wide. I did not need to add an edging to the blanket since the pattern crates a nice edging.

If you would like to make this beautiful blanket, called the Vintage Fan Ripple blanket, you can find the instructions with a tutorial on a blog called The Creative Being

This blanket was done in Stylecraft Special dk yarn in the following colors:
1065 Meadow
1241 Fondant
1005 Cream
1188 Lavender
1084 Magenta
1083 pomegranate
1029 lemon

Next week I hope to share with you a new Boho crochet pattern.

Have a great week!
Crochet on,
Da
